Control

I think "Control" is my first design experience and project. Before "Control" I already worked several years with the computer, willing to design great stuff in: MsPaint! This was my first work with Photoshop and after this a world opened!

The assignment was to design a A0 poster of a fascination. From back to my youth till now I really like (seeing) skateboarding. I think it is a gift to have such a control of your board, it fascinates me. I mailed several skateboarding "groups" and asked them questions about where and why they started, how long it took to learn the basic skills and if they were willing to take their skateboarding to a pro level. The quote on my poster was by a skater from the United States of America and I thought this quote defines the control of skateboarding.
